The payment cap (sometime repayment cap) is the maximum amount you will have to pay to honour your Income Share Agreement. It is a fixed amount, once you reach it you do not have to pay more. Equally, there is no interest charged on your payment, your maximum payment is your payment cap.

You may not pay the full amount up to your payment cap because there is also a time limit on how long the Income Share Agreement lasts (called the payment period).
