The Payment Period is the length of the ISA contract. During this time, if you earn over the payment threshold, you will need to pay a percentage of your income to honour the Income Share Agreement. When the payment period is over, you no longer have to pay, irrespective of how much you have paid up to that point. This means, that if you never earn above the payment threshold during your payment period, you do not pay anything. Your obligation is discharged.
